Each action you take has historically valid consequences and the game's sophisticated Artificial Intelligence (AI) and dynamic world models react accurately to events and decisions in the game. |
In-game advisors are based on actual historic figures and give you intelligent advice about your military, diplomatic, domestic and economic options. You negotiate with other players, prepare your plans, make choices and take action.
Scenarios in The Calm and the Storm each focus on a specific historic period and include distinct playable countries. Scenarios focus on the key questions and challenges that nations faced at those times. The Calm and the Storm includes both global and focused scenarios. Global scenarios include the major countries involved in the Pacific and European theatres. Our focused scenario covers a smaller number of playable countries and a shorter play-time. (In this set, a focused scenario is built around the Munich conference.)
