Steam Cloud Support - With Steam Cloud your profile is stored on the Cloud servers. Data about your bindings, last played level, progress so far, and other data are stored online. The profile is compressed to only a few kB, so the transfer is very fast.

This is for Windows 7 mainly but may work for others. To fix the save game issue, simply right-click the SamHD.exe application and select the "Run as Administrator" option every time. This should allow the game to make saves and quick saves and load them properly.
