Along with the addition of multiplayer modes such as Deathmatch and King of the Hill, there’s novv the ability to play as some of the game’s popular bosses (Minos, The Dungeon Lord, the Zombie King and more) in multiplayer, along vvith the addition of an extensive single-player campaign, a nevv dungeon setting and 25 nevv prestige gimmicks.

The Dark Lord, point-man of the first game, has decided to unify the underworld by remaking it as a single realm under his own control. As a symbol of that power, he has destroyed his Crystal Throne and after a few faltering first attempts, created a ring which was promptly stolen by his peg-legged counterpart, Sidekick. Intense Gaming TV: Realmforge Studios’ Dungeons was released February 10th, 2011 to mixed reviews from critics. Our own review tells a similar tale; Dungeons is an okay game, but it’s pretty much a clone of Dungeon Keeper and it’s not as good. Now, just over 6 months later, Realmforge Studios brings us Dungeons: The Dark Lord, a standalone expansion pack for the original game.
