MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – May 17, 2012 – Backyard Lizard Games will launch an exciting and engaging new game on the Facebook platform starting May 30, 2012.
Backyard Lizard is an independent games company whose mission is to develop high quality, innovative, fun and immersive games across all genres and for all ages. The company uses all available technology when developing its games and believes that fantastic games come from fantastic people who have a passion for tapping into the imagination.
Jumpin’Gemz is described as a Match-Three or More game, with a fully interactive storyline. According to Backyard Lizard representative William Yeager, “The core of the game is matching up like colored and shaped gemz, but there is so much more. Without giving the entire game away, the player is an explorer (like that guy with the bullwhip), and they stumble upon a crazy looking temple. Once inside, they need to unlock a lot of rooms to get to the prize. They will be able to enlist their friends to help, give gifts, and do all kinds of fun stuff. A tad nebulous, but we are only 2 weeks from launch, so it isn’t that long of a wait!”
